Quitting
is easier when you do it with friends. Join others in the quest to quit
for a ten week program that will help you beat the addiction to nicotine
and redesign a cigarette-free lifestyle.
Catching Our Breath
When:
Tuesday Evenings 7:00 - 9:00pm, Jan 18 - March 22
Where: North Community Health Centre, 202 - 1651 Commercial Drive
(Commercial & 1st Ave). Elevator and stairs on Commercial, opening next
to entrance to Il Mercado.
A 10-week program
for change for lesbian, bi and trans women who smoke. FREE but Registration
is required. Call 604.684.5307 to register. Registrants will be contacted
by phone prior to the group beginning.

Nicotine Anonymous is a non-profit 12-step fellowship of men and women
helping each other live nicotine-free lives. Nicotine Anonymous welcomes
all those seeking freedom from nicotine addiction, including those using
cessation programs and nicotine withdrawal aids. The primary purpose of
Nicotine Anonymous is to help all those who would like to cease using
tobacco and nicotine products in any form. The fellowship offers group
support and recovery using the 12-steps as adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous
to achieve abstinence from nicotine.
